We have come to quite a crossroads with my best buddy. He is an 8lb pomapoo. He had bladder stones earlier this month that were removed without issue, however, in the healing process somehow his urethra has healed almost completely closed. This is, of course, a very serious condition that can become an emergency very quickly. We have seen and talked to many vets who say Dusty Busty is a picture of health with the exception of this complication. His heart, lungs, and bloodwork are all exceptional which certainly makes deciding to say goodbye borderline impossible. For those that don’t know dusty has been my sidekick since I was 17. He has been through many seasons of my life with me- adolescence, getting engaged, married, becoming a mom. He’s lived with me in 4 different houses and we have been pretty inseparable almost half of my life. By the grace of God a local surgeon decided to come back from a trip she was on early to examine dusty on Friday thinking that he may be a candidate for a second surgery that they are confident will give him a new lease on life. Unfortunately this surgery is very expensive- hence the crossroads. I’ve decided to try to raise money on my own to have the funds benefit Dusty’s surgery (praying he is a candidate) because we want to do everything we can to save him until we are told there are no additional options.

That being said, I want to offer photo sessions by donation. I am not a professional photographer by any stretch of the imagination, but have considered myself a hobby photographer since high school. Recently I have been blessed with a new camera and am excited to practice with it and can give you all some beautiful pictures to hang in your home. I will not be setting a price for these sessions.
