The "Why"

My love for photography started in high school, where I first learned the art of photography in the darkroom and fell in love with the process of turning a moment into something you could hold onto. Over the years, that love transitioned into digital photography and remained a creative outlet I continually came back to. Having been part of ACT Players community theater since I was 15, I eventually began photographing promotional images and performances for the theater, where I discovered just how much I love capturing the emotion, movement, and personality that happen both on and off the stage. More recently, I’ve begun accepting paid photography engagements and expanding into portrait and family photography—something I’m genuinely loving more with every session. I’m continuing to grow, learn, and develop my style, but what hasn’t changed is why I pick up my camera in the first place: I simply love capturing people, connections, and moments in a way that feels warm, genuine, and worth remembering.
